Julian Velard has been in residence at NYC’s preeminent piano bar, Sid Gold’s Request Room, since it opened its doors in 2015. Unlike traditional piano bars the music leans more toward pop, rock, soul. Guests are encouraged to request songs, take the mic and lead the crowd in a sing-a-long of their favorite tunes. Velard has hosted piano karaoke parties in private and corporate settings for celebrities and brands. Past clients include YouTube, The Whitney Museum, Union Beer, and New Lab Robotics. Along the way he’s accompanied the likes of Alex Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Chris Haynes, Tina Fey, and Rachel Dratch.
